MRS. VICTORIA BALLIEU
BROWNSVILLE - Mrs. Victoria Ballieu, 75, died Monday at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness.
She was born March 8, 1893 at Orono, the daughter of Benjamin and Ozilda (Brochu) Michaud.
Surviving are two sons, Victor Melanson of Wyoming and Elmer Melanson of Virginia; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Amidon of Berlin, N.Y. and Mrs. Dorothy Cormack of Wayland, Mass.; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church with the Rev. Michael J. McDonald as celebrant.
Burial will be in the family lot in Pine Tree Cemetery in Brownsville Junction.
Friends may call at the Lary Funeral Home in Milo on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The rosary will be said Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
