Obituary from;The Springfield Daily News, Springfield, Ma. Saturday, April 28, 1945;
Alfred N. Dennis of 252 Berkshire Avenue died at his home yesterday morning after a long illness. Besides his widow, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Jolloy( Jolly spelled incorrect in paper), of this city; a son, Pfc Henry A . Dennis serving with the 3d infantry in Germany; two brothers, George Dennis of this city and Joseph of Hartford; a sister, Mrs. Charles Guyette of North Wilbraham, and one grandson. Mr. Dennis was a member of the USA Social club of Indian Orchard and was employed by the Monsanto Chemical company. The funeral will be held at the Ratell funeral home, followed by requiem high mass at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart church.

The funeral of Alfred N. Dennis of 252 Berkshire avenue will be held at the Ratell funeral home tomorrow morning at 8. followed by requiem high mass at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart church at 9. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery.
