Born Feb. 7, 1893, in the Town of Albion, daughter of John and Minnie Sloper Doane, she attended the Town of Albion district schools.
She was married to Harry G. Whaley on Nov. 9, 1908. He died in 1944.
She was employed by the Depot Restaurant, Richland, until moving to Syracuse 34 years ago.
She was a former member of the Richland United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Anna Whaley, Syracuse; four sons, Robert H., Utica, Dayton G., Newark, Calif., Archie L., Twin Falls Idaho, and Oscar E., Syracuse; 20 grand children; 59 greatgrand children, and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Tuesday, December 6th, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Rev. Virgil Hager, pastor of First Baptist Church, Sandy Creek, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski
