Pulaski-Mrs Deloarse Jackson, 66, wife of Cortland Jackson, died Tuesday night at her home near Orwell. She was born April 24, 1889, in the Town of Albion, daughter of John & Minnie Sloper Doane. On August 4, 1907, she was married to Mr Jackson. They lived most of their life in Orwell. She was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church in Sandy Creek.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Cortland John Jackson Jr. of Albion; three sisters, Mrs Herbert Mandigo of Pulaski, Mrs Harry Whaley of Richland, and Mrs Hattie Mattison of Red Bank; two brothers, Artemus Doane of Westvale and Alva Doane.
Services will be held Friday at Fosters Funeral Home, with rev. Clinton Draper, pastor of Sandy Creek Wesleyan Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Altmar Cemetery.
