Funeral Services Thursday
Mrs. C.F. McLeod, Who Died Monday Night
Funeral services for Mrs. Cecelia Frances McLeod, who died Monday night, were held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Dillinger mortuary chapel. The service was conducted by the Rev. Chas W. Null. Hymns were sung by Mrs. S.H. Rantz and by A.S. Fox. Burial was in Union Cemetery. Mrs. McLeod had been in failing health for some time. She was 73 years of age, born April 24, 1856 in Placerville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Ober. Her father was one of the first school teachers in the county. Two sons, Dan and Bert McLeod; a sister, Mrs. Charles Perry; two brothers, Will and James Ober; and two half brothers, George and John Luse, in addition to more distant kin, survive.
