Ermine was the son of the late Charles and Elsie Selba (Combs) Funkhouser.

Ermine married Leona C. nee: Simmons Willis on Feb. 18, 1990. Ermine was a truck driver and deliveryman for Winchester Cold Storage, retiring after 30 years.

Ermine was an Army veteran of World War 11.

Ermine was the father of one daughter Betty Deanne Garrett. Two stepdaughters, Carmen Miller and Mae Haines. A stepson Clarence Halterman.

Ermine had two sisters, Elva J. Larrick and Pauline McIntire.
