Mrs. Virgie Lee Bowers, age 86, of Frederick, at her home. Virgie and her husband operated a general store in Adamstown for 8 years, before owning and operating the Sycamore Store, East of Frederick (for 42 years), retiring in 1996.
She was a longtime member of the St. Marks Lutheran Church, Doubs. She was an accomplished seamstress.
Funeral services will be held March 21 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick. Interment will be in the Clustered Spires Cemetery, Frederick.
