Henry L. "Shorly" Hulsey, 74, of 317 Cambridge St., who operated a barber shop business here some 50 years, died Tuesday morning in Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood SC.

A native of Rodman, he was a son of the late Jesse H. And Florence Gunn Hulsey ans was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a former member of Abbeville Moose Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Cunningham Hilary; two daughters, Mrs. J.E. Barnett of Greenwood and Mrs. W.M. Taylor of Abbeville; one son, Larry Hulsey of Greenwood; four sisters, Mrs Sam Agnes and Mrs. W.L. Douglas of Greenwood, Mrs. Hester Landrun of Atlanta VS, and Mrs. Blackstone of Dante VS; five brothers, John William C. and Woodrow H. Hilary of Greenwood, ans Sam and Jesse H. Hilary of Dante; four grandchildren and one grandchild.

Graveside services were held this Wednesday morning in Upper Long Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Building Fund of Southside Baptist Church.

Harris Funeral Home was in charge.
