Hester Ann Landrum, 105, Peachtree City, Georgia, died October 10, 1998. She was born March 2, 1893 in Toccoa, GA, one of 15 children. She worked for Southern Bell Telephone for 42 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of the Tenth Street United Methodist Church and the Spring Lake Garden Club. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed ceramics and china painting.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Thomas and a grandson, Michael Thomas. Survivors include a son, Joe and Leila Landrum, Sharpsburg, GA; a sister, Grace Agnew, Greenwood, South Carolina; a son-in-law, Emile Thomas, Bogart, GA; and five grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the Carl J. Mowell Chapel, Fayetteville with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge of the arrangements.
