Visitation for Norma L. Timm, 82, of Kankakee, will be from 9 a.m. Friday until the 11 a.m. funeral services at the Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, west Kankakee. Pastor Patty Heath will officiate.

Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens of Memory, Kankakee. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. She died Tuesday (March 20, 2012) at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee.

Ms. Timm was a waitress and cook in the restaurant industry. She was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Chebanse, the daughter of Lewis and Geraldine Hayworth Brandt. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and working crossword puzzles.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters-in-law, John and Ruth Timm, of Bourbonnais, Virgil "Ozzie" and Nancy Timm, of Chebanse, Michael Timm, of Bradley, and Joni Timm, of Crescent City; one daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Terry Martell, of Lake in the Hills; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and three sisters and one brother-in-law, Doris Alexander, of Champaign, Lois and Charles Hequet, of Edmond, Okla., and Patricia Barnhart, of Independence, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Daniel Lynn Timm.
