The Greenville News (Greenville, SC) Friday, 5 March 1876

Abbeville - Mrs Gertrude Calvert Hagan, 77, of 907 N Main St, wife of Mark N Hagan, Sr, died Thursday.

A native of Abbeville, daughter of the late William A and Mamie Botts Calvert, she was a member of Abbeville Presbyterian Church and a retired member of the County Board of Registration.

Surviving: 2 sons, the Rev Donald C Hagan of Long Island, NY and Mark N Hagan Jr of Atlanta, GA. 2 sisters, Mrs Sarah Ellis of New Orleans, LA and Mrs S Frank Sherard Sr of Calhoun Falls.
