The following information was provided by Dale Ethridge:

MRS, LOUISA M. ETHRIDGE. 74. died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Idelia Plnson, on the Abbeville-Due West Highway Thursday night at 9 p. m. following an illness of long duration. She was a daughter of the late James and Sadie McKee McCarley lifelong resident of Abbeville county and' a member of Rocky River Baptist Church.-. Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Daisy Idelia Ethridge Pinson, and Mrs. Mable Ethridge Gilmer, both of Abbeville: one son, James Alvln Ethridge Sr. of Abbeville; one sister, Mrs. E. E. Burton, Calhoun Falls; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services are to be held from Long Cane Presbyterian Church today at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Henry Gambell in association with the Rev. B, F. Ogletree officiating, interment will be in the Long Cane cemetery. Pallbearers will Include Ben Mc-Cord, Will Stevenson, Paul and George Martin, and Walter Hughes. Flowerbearers will be nieces.
