Mrs. Mabel Ethridge Gilmer, 82, formerly of Woodview Apartments, widow of Sam W. Gilmer, died Oct 29, 1994 at Cobb Memorial Nursing Home, Comer, Ga. Bom in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Louisa McCarley Ethridge. She was retired from Abbeville Mills and was a member of the Abbeville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs Gilmer has the following children Robert E. Gilmer of Greenwood; two daughters, Reba Hester of Iva and Elaine Duncan of Edmond, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and 1 1 great" grandchildren. 1 She was the last member of her immediate family. 1 Services will be at 3 pjn. Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Massey and the Rev. JD. Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
