Marguerite P. "Marge" Wyrick was born May 24, 1918, in Elma, Washington to Adolph and Priscilla (Richards) Dierick. She passed from this life Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Coffeyville, Kansas with her family at her side. She attended school in Washington and on November 11, 1942 she married the love of her life, Herbert E. Wyrick. Marge worked for Boeing during the war and was one of the Rosie the riveters. They made their home in the Nowata area where they worked their dairy farm and raised their children. She was a member of the VFW Woman's Auxiliary, and attended the First Presbyterian Church. Marge loved gardening. She always enjoyed showing everyone the garden and what she had planted. She would can vegetables for the family to enjoy, and loved times the family could get together, especially Easter. She had a special place in her heart for her family and she will be dearly missed.
Preceding Mrs. Wyrick in death are her parents, Adolph and Priscilla Dierick, her husband, Herbert Wyrick, a daughter, Debra Gregory, brothers, Syril, Emil, Richard, and Louie Dierick, and a sister, Lillian Rawley.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Wyrick and wife Jan, of Nowata, Larry Wyrick and wife Jane, of Delaware, Oklahoma, one daughter Joyce Parrish and husband Ray, of Nowata, eight grandchildren, Jeri Kulchinski, Jamie Gaskill, Joanna Cotton, Keith
Wyrick, Leah Wyrick, Ethan Wyrick, Matt Gregory, Cannon Gregory, and Morgan Tran, a brother, Elmer Dierick, of Montesano, Washington, many other relatives and a host of friends
