FUNERAL TODAY FOR
MRS. R.E. CHILDS

Funeral services for Mrs. Robert E. Childs, 2 Elizabeth Street, who died Friday in a local hospital, will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. Zach Hayes and the Rev. Forrest Lanier officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at Jennings chapel. Active pallbearers: Jim Primm, B.R. Dillard, Jr., M.L. Ingram, E.O. Love, R.L. Mathis, A.H. Bryson, Joe S. Astin and William Ford.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. F.E. Vassiere, R.O. Storey, A.H. Stephens, Dr. W.H. Lewis, Ed Brown, P.J. Henderson, R.S. Kennard, and P.B. Conway.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. G.S. Pritchett, of Rome; a brother, Guy J. Logan, Everett Springs and two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Guy J. Logan, of Everett Springs and Mrs. E.P. Logan, of Rome. Five nieces and three nephews also survive.
