For Thomas Logan

Thomas Rhodes Logan, 60, life-long resident of Rome, died early Sunday at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Robert E. Childs, No 2 Elizabeth Street following several months illness.

Mr. Logan was born in Rome, April 22, 1892, son of the late Thomas R. and Jennie Wood Logan. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

In addition to Mrs. Childs, surviving are one brother, Guy J. Logan, of Chicago; one sister-in-law, Mrs. E. P. Logan, of Rome, four nieces, Mrs. O. S. Prewett, Mrs. W. H. Austin and Mrs Elliott Camp, all of Rome, and Mrs. C.C. Carey, Pensacola, Fla.; several nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services were conducted today at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home. The Rev. Zach Hayes officiating and interment was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Robert Harvey, Dr. J. H. Mull, Leo Fahy, Ed Brown, Frank Carey and W. H. Ford.
