SMITHSON, MRS. EVA INEZ, age 77, of Houston, Tex., formerly of Bessemer, died August 27, 1997. Grave side service will be Saturday, August 30, at 1 p.m. from Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. James Terpo officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 29, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Brown Service Bessemer Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smithson. Survivors: sons, Donald Smithson, Houston, Tex., Eugene Smithson, Bessemer; sister, Roberta Smith, Birmingham, Marie Ammons, Bessemer, Lloyd Lambert, Bessemer, Irene Hullett, Toledo, Ohio; brother, Ernest Watson, Pleasant Grove; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Brown Service Bessemer Funeral Home directing.
