Mrs. Ethel Marie Williams, age 65 of Jonesboro, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Williams was a retired dietician, a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Friends may visit with the family 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 21 at Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 22 in the chapel with Reverend Craig Stephens officiating. Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams is survived by a son, Willis Ray and wife Jeanne of Jonesboro; daughters, Anna Jordan and husband Carl of Jonesboro, Crystal Howell and husband Jimmy of Jonesboro; brother, John D. Brimer of Duberly; sister, Polly Griffith of Jonesboro; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by husband, Marion Cecil Williams; parents, Calvin Brimer and Katie Lou (Plunkett) Brimer; brothers, Dewey Brimer and Gene Brimer; sisters, Mildred Bolyer, Shirley Nunn and Linda Harper.

Pallbearers will be, Corey Ray, Casey Ray, Carey Ray, Myka Griffith, Ro Griffith and Ronnie Griffith.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Professional Hospice.
