Marion Cecil Williams passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his residence in Jonesboro.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Ethel; son, Willie Ray; daughters, Marshella Flurry, Crystal Howell and husband Jimmie, Anna Jordan and husband Carl; brothers, Luther Douglas Williams, Johnny Lee Williams, James Paul Williams, Kenneth Wayne Williams, Albert Earl Williams; sisters, Gladys Williams and Wanda Welborn; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther B. Williams and Gladys E. Williams.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 2:00PM in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Goodman officiating. Interment will be in the Springhill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 5:00PM until 9:00PM.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Michael Gooden, Marcus Gooden, Jimmie Williams, Tommy Mathews, Jimmie Howell and Carl Jordan. Honorary pallbearers are Albert Flurry, Luther Douglas Williams, Jerry Williams, Johnny Williams, Kenneth Williams, Albert Williams and James Williams.
