Kentucky New Era obit posted 06 Aug 1970 reads as follows:

Chester Bone, 61, of 414 Elm Street, died at 4pm after suffering an apparent heart attack. Funeral arrangements were incomplete this afternoon. The body is at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral home.

A native of Christian County, Mr. Bone was born March 7, 1909, the son of the late William and Vernie Wells Bone.

He was a carpenter.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Flossie Wells Bone; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Meredith, Bowling Green; and a brother Arvin Bone of the county and two grandchildren.

Services for Chester Bone, 61, were held this afternoon at Johnson's Chapel United Methodist Church in North Christian.

The Rev. Aubrey Wood officiated. Burial was in Johnson's Chapel Cemetery. Fuqua Hinton was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bone died Wednesday at his home, 414 Elm St.

Pallbearers were Woodrow and James Johnson, Wendell Allen, Luther Wells, George W. Barnes and Gilbert Lee.
