Mollie Beamer was born February 10, 1893 and passed away suddenly at her home in Cuba, Missouri on August 15, 1979 at the age of 86 years, 6 months, and 5 days. She was the daughter of Joshua and Mary Chewning nee Souders. Mollie was united in marriage to George Markley at Oak Hill, Missouri on February 5, 1911. Two sons were born to this union, Bradford and George Russell. Mr. Markley and both sons preceeded her in death. Later she married Elver Beamer at Steelville, Missouri on November 20, 1942. She was a long time member of the Cuba Methodist Church. Surviving are her two grandsons, George Ronald, and Jack Markley, one sister Ruth Raish, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Mrs. Beamer was in state at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri Thursday August 16. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 19, 1979 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cuba United Methodist Church. Intermet was in Kinder Cemetery.
