Pauline Abraham was the daughter of Ignatz Kozlowski and Anna Poczula. She was born and baptized in Luzino (formerly Lusin, Kreis Neustadt, West Prussia). She married Johann Abraham at Gohra (formerly in West Prussia, now Góra) Catholic parish on 23 Oct 1872. They had seven children. The first six (Joseph, Cecilia, August, Frank, John, and Rose) were born in Nadole. They immigrated to Chicago in 1891 and their youngest son Felix was born soon after. Unfortunately, Pauline's husband John and three of their children died within a year of their arrival.
