Mrs. Amee Marshall of Chippewa Falls, at one time a resident of this city, died at St. Joseph's hospital in Chippewa Falls on Monday night. She suffered a stroke earlier in the day.
Mrs. Marshall, nee Aimee Foster, was born in the town of Cleveland, Oct. 10, 1869, the first white child born in that community. Her early life was spent in the Keystone community. In 1894 she was united in marriage to Forest Marshall and they resided in Bloomer until 1902, when they moved to Chippewa Falls, where she has since resided. Mr. Marshall preceded her in death in 1916.
Surviving are three daughteers, Miss Geraldine of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. J. C. Garrity of Green Bay and Mrs. Harlow Armstrong of Maywood, Illinois, and one son, Forest C. Marshall of Charleston, W. Va. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Sweet of Monroe, Mrs. Gertrude Dettloff of Bloomer and Mrs. Nancy Strowbridge of Willmington, Del., and one brother Wm. R. Foster of Chippewa Falls.
Funeral Services will be held from the Mason Funeral home in Chippewa Falls Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Paul Turner of Riverside, Ill., officiating. Interment was made at Forest Hill cemetery in that city.
