Donald Ray Freeman was the son of Claude and Lena Wagner Freeman. He married Dorothy Brown March 17, 1946 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He was survived by a son, a daughter, a brother and a sister.
and was preceded in death by a son Richard and a brother Gerald.

He was a graduate of Ridge Farm High school and had been employed by R & S. Printing Co.

In World War II he was a B-29 pilot and retired from the Air Force as a Major.

His memberships include St. James United Methodist Church, the Elks, the Gao Grotto, the United Commercial Travelers and the Olive Branch Lodge of the Masons.
