Julia Fischesser was the daughter of Bernard Kuhl and Christina (Traut) Kuhl. She was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her first husband was Elmer Walz. They had three children, but Elmer Walz died in 1938. Julia later married Edward Fischesser, and remained married to him until his death in 1954. She lived in Cincinnati until her death on April 28, 1966. She is buried near her second husband, Edward Fischesser, in the St. Mary Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
