Juanita Murray, 92, of Kansas City, Mo., died March 15, 2012, in her home at Wexford Place. She was born Aug. 10, 1919, to James and Ida Barron near Dawn, Mo., and graduated from Braymer High School in 1938. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Melvin Huff, Freeman Gann, and Shannon Murray. She loved to cook and garden, and spent winter months quilting by hand and crocheting afghans. She was a member of the Braymer Christian Church. She is survived by a son, Dennis Gann of Kansas City, a daughter, Debra Gann of Kansas City; a stepson, Roger Murray of Braymer, two stepdaughters, Joyce Stone of Cowgill, Mo., and Jeanette Griffin of Lebanon, Mo.; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at the Braymer Christian Church with the funeral following at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Braymer Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to North Care Hospice located in North Kansas City Hospital. Online condolences may be left at mountmoriahterracepark.com.
