Mrs. Edward Born, 33, of Rt.1 Maribel, died Tuesday afternoon at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. John Lutheran Church, Gibson. The Rev. John Mattek will officiate and burial will in the church cemetery.
She was born Iola Karl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Karl in West Kewaunee in 1920 and in 1941 was married to Mr. Born. They located on a farm in Gibson. Survivors are the husband; three sons, Robert, Allen and Earl James at home; daughter, Carol at home; six brothers, Clarence, August, and William of Kewaunee, Henry of Two Rivers, Elmer of Michigan and Virgil of Green Bay; three sisters, Mrs. Anton Janoski of Muskegon, Mich; and Mrs. Victor Christorf and Miss Frances of Kewaunee.
Friends may call at the Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 2 p.m. Thursday. The casket will moved to the church at 11 a.m. Friday. Written Exactly in the paper
