Mrs Ialeen Fisher Scott 97 of Jefferson City , died Monday March 12, 2012 at Oak Villa Nursing Center.

She was born December 5, 1914 near Tusumbia Mo. the daughter of John and Nellie Sooter Fischer. She was married to Ray B. Scott on May 22, 1934 at her grandparents home near Tuscumbia Mo. He passed away December 5, 2004 after 70 years of happy marriage.

She retired from the Division of Employment Security in 1978 and enjyed 20 years of volunteer work at Capital Region Medical Center and visiting shutins and friends in nursing homes. She was a lifelong member of First Church of God since 1930.

She enjoyed growing flowers, walking, cooking, and taking food to the sick. Most of all she loved God praising Him for akk the blessings and things that made her life so pleasant.

She is survived by three sons, Rnald Scott and wife Jennie of Keokuk Iowa, Raymond Scott and wife Lynda of Stckton Mo. and Richar Scott and wife Susan of Springfield Mo. along with ten grandchildren, tw step grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. numerous nephews and niecesm cusins and a host of loving friends and acquaintances were a large part of her life.

She was the last of her immediate family, being preceded in death by her parwents, her husband, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be at First Church of Gd from 5-7p.m. Thursday March 15, 2012.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10;a.m. Friday March 16, 2012 at First Church of God with the Rev. Rob Kespelher officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial cintributions may be made to First Church of God Church.
