Memorial Service Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 119 W. 8th Ave., Shakopee.
Visitation: Visitation Thursday from 9-11 AM at the church.

Chuck Goebel, age 79, of Shakopee, died on Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. He was born in Dryden Township, Sibley County, near Arlington, MN, on August 3, 1932, the son of Alfred and Cora (Timm) Goebel. Chuck served in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 2 in Shakopee. From 1967-1975 he was the owner of Chuck's Bakery in Shakopee. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and camping, all the local sports teams, and having coffee with the guys at the bakery. Survived by wife, Carol; children, Brenda (Dave) Groschen, Linda (Gary) Kube, Rhonda (Steve) Rosvold, Kevin (Margie) Goebel; grandchildren, Mike (Amy), Katie (Devin), Joe (Cassie), Jesse (Tiffany), Adam (Krystal), Kristin, Matt (Sonja), Danielle, and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Austin, Jordyn, Brady, Connor; sister, Mildred (Dwaine) Felmlee; brother-in-law, Allen (Lois) Willmsen; sister-in-law, Connie Peik. Preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Cora Goebel; and infant son.
