Kentucky New Era:
Services for Bessie P. Miller, 86, Christian Health Center, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lamb Funeral Home with the Revs. Jim Hazelrigg and Larry Dale Combs officiating.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Muhlenberg County. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
She died at 8:25 a.m. Monday at Christian Health Center of natural causes.
A native of Muhlenberg County, she was born May 8, 1921, the daughter of the late Charles Warren and Roberta Wells.
**side note - her father's name is Charles Warren "Wheeler" Wells. Wheeler never went by Charles Warren.**
She had been a seamstress at Hopkinsville Clothing Co. and a nurse's aide at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
She was a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church.
Her husband, Bernie Grace Miller, died in 1984. Three sons, William "Bill" Miller and Joseph Miller, an infant E.G. Miller and a daughter Shirley Henderson all preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Hawkins and Peggy Grace, both of Hopkinsville, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice or to the American Heart Association
