Mr. Moak, beloved husband of Mary Lynn Fallaw Moak, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012. Born in Richland County, he was the son of the late George Washington Moak and Johnnie Louise Halstead Moak. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Incarnation Lutheran Church and attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church since moving to Batesburg. Mr. Moak retired as Foreman, after many years of devoted service from South Carolina Dept. of Transportation. He was an active member of B-L Senior Center and was recently crowned King of the Senior Center. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife, Mary L. Moak of Batesburg; sons, Richard Uriah Moak of Lugoff, Ronald N. Moak of Camden, Mike R. Moak of Columbia, David C. Cloud of Lexington and Donald C. Cloud of Charleston; sisters, Louise Anne Jones of Texas and Zita V. Godley of Utah; brother, Robert D. Moak of Blythewood, along with three grandchildren.
