I never met Lou but I know quite a few of her family members and I know she was truely loved and her memory lives on through all those who did know her.

Anderson - Lou Evelyn (Bair) Martin, 66, went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2010 after an extended illness.

She was born November 18, 1943 in Carter, Kentucky, and had lived in Anderson since 1955.

She was an amazing wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and was loved and adored by all who knew her.

She was a clown, affectionately known as (Starlight) and was also a wonderful artist.

She was a member of East Side House of Prayer, Women's Democrat Club, Judy Davis Art Club and Casey's Chapter Ministry Clown.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Martin, whom she married on April 28, 1961; son, C.J. wife (Connie); daughters, Carolyn & husband (Bill), Dalma, Kimberly, Kenra, Dewendelin, husband (Jason), step-daughter, Vickie; grandchildren, Tessa, Cody wife (Misty), Jacob, Nathan, Zackery, Anna, Naomi, Quentin, Cameron & Justice; great grandchildren, Elexis, Sara, Benjamin, Noah, Caleb, Teagan, & Kali; brothers, Delmos (Lannie), Fred (Carol); sister-in-law, Nancy; and special sister, Diane Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo & Verna (Hay) Bair; brothers, Eddie, Duke and John, Sr.; and sisters, Elizabeth and Loretta (Bill).

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.

Services will be Friday, October 22, 2010 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Jim Boicourt officiating.

Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery Anderson .

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
