Clida was the oldest child of James W. and Oresta May Coverdell Maudlin.She graduated from Grant City High School in 1919. She was a school teacher in Worth County for 3 years. On June 3, 1922, she married Frank Fletchall. They lived in Worth County the rest of their lives. They were both very active in their church, and in their faith. They were the parents of two sons-Gene and Joe.
