RUSSELL - Isabel Lillian Trapp, 85, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at the Russell Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 23, 1916, in Russell to John and Lydia (Dietz) Bender. She married Delbert E. Trapp on Feb. 12, 1937, in La Crosse. He died Feb. 24, 1972. She (? He) worked in the oil patch for 15 years. (another obit states "She was well known in the oil patch where she worked for 15 years during the time her husband was an invalid and prior to his death")

Survivors include a son, Robert D., Kansas City, Mo.; and a sister, Mary L. Wagner, Russell. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lenora, Ruth and an infant sister. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. John Lutheran Church, Russell, with the Rev. Henry Hartman officiating; burial in the church cemetery. Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell, in charge. Memorials are suggested to the Isabel Trapp Altar Flower Fund, St. John Lutheran Church.
