PARISH. May 15—Funeral services for George LaForce, 71, who died Friday night at his home in Parish, were held at 10 a, m. Monday in St. Mary's Star of the Bel? church, Mexico. Burial was in the
Pleasant Lawn cemetery, Parish. Mr. LaForce was a miner until 1906 when he was forced to retire because of ill health. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Irene Watson LaForce; three sons, Francis of Burlington, Vt., Oscar of Parish and Richard of U S. Army, stationed at Fort Totent N. J., three daughters, Mrs, Zoie Readie of Springfield, Mass., Mrs Mildred Watson of Syracuse, and. Mrs. Elizabeth Weaver of Parish and 16 grandchildren.
