Services for Vida McCracken, 87, of Odessa are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with Vernon Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. McCracken died Monday at Medical Center Hospital. She was born November 25, 1901, in Saltillo, Tenn. She married Clem T. McCracken Nov. 23, 1919 in Gorman. He died in September 1968. Mrs McCracken came to Odessa in 1942 from Abilene. She retired in 1966 from J. C. Penney Co. She was a member of Eisenhower Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Billie Sperry of Odessa; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great--grandchildren. Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
