Mamie was born 15 November 1896 on the Cady/Walker Homestead in Pennsylvania Township, Sullivan County, Missouri to Arizina Emma Walker Kent and Ira Harrison Kent, son of William "Harrison" Kent. She was raised there and around Enid, Oklahoma. She married Clarence Martin Hayworth 2 June 1915 in Enid. Two sons were born to them in Enid; Clarence Alvin in 1916 and Bert Omal in 1918. On 17 May 1927 she married her second husband, Nolan Cleveland Matthews at Denver, Colorado. One child was born to them; Clifton Lee Matthews in 1928 on the Cady/Walker Homestead. From there she had many adventures as she married many more times and lived in many places, one being a ranch in the Bears Paw Mountains of Montana. She loved to dance and play canasta. In her 82nd year of life she married Ralph Edmond Hayworth, a younger brother to her first husband. Ralph would say, "I always loved her". She would say, "I finally found what I had been looking for in all of my previous marriages". Her three sons gave her 20 grandchildren.
