"The funeral of Mrs. Addison Amadon was held yesterday from her home at Averill Park and later from St. Henry's Church, that village, where a requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. Charles Windbell. Mrs. J. J. Cairns presided at the organ. John J. Hartigan sang 'O Salutaria', 'Nearer My God To Thee', and 'Jesus, Savior of My Soul'. Bearers were John H., Edward F. and George F. Walsh, Joseph Fisher, James Kelley and Oliver Chaput. The funeral was largely attended and there were many floral offerings. Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery, this city. Mrs. Amadon is survived by her husband, a son, Elmer; a daughter, Miss Eleanor Amadon; her father, William Walsh, and three brothers, John H., Edward F. and George F. Walsh of this city."
