She was born November 30,1098 in
Illinois City, Ill., the daughter of
James S. and Mabel Martin McKay.
She married Samuel L. Carner in Jan,
1929. She later married Ernest L.
White in Nashua.
She was a telephone operator for the
City of Gibson for many years and later
owned and operated the White Nursing
Home in What Cheer for 34 years. She
had lived in What Cheer since 1954 and
prior to that lived in Gibson
She was preceded in death by her
parents, a brother, a sister and two
grandsons, a half-brother and two sons-
in-law.
Funeral services were held Tuesday,
Dec.8 at 2 p.m., at the Harden Funeral
Chapel in What Cheer with Rev. Kenneth
Arentson officiating.
Burial was in Sixteen Cemetery near
Thornburg.
