Ollie Earl Rollings, Jr, age 84, died October 30, 1997, following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Hazel Huggins Rollings. He is survived by two sons, Dr. O.E. Rollings (Cecilia Brooks Rollings) and Attorney Harvey Rollings (Patricia Lathrem Rollings); five grandchildren, Dr. Brooks Rollings, Christy Rollings Hooper, Reese Rollings, Allison Rollings, and David Rollings; two great grandsons, Hunter Rollings and Reed Rollings; sister-in-law Lillian Ezell of Cape Coral; and niece Ruth Owens of Birmingham, Alabama.

He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Cape Coral. He was a native of Birmingham, Alabama and for many years was a Vice President of Liberty National Life Insurance Company, retiring in 1977. He was a past President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America; active for over fifteen years in Boy Scouts of America; a former councilman for the city of Homewood, Alabama; and a member of Lions International.

A private Memorial Service will be held at Coral Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to Hope Hospice.
