GULFPORT --- Mrs. Hazel Dedeaux Page Achee, 80, died Wednesday, October 4, 2000, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Achee was a native of Long Beach and a Gulfport resident since 1992. She retired as an operator for Southern Bell, and was a volunteer for the VFW Ladies Auxiliary at the Navy Home in Gulfport. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach most of her life, and at the time of her death was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Eva O. Dedeaux.

Survivors include her husband, Norris Achee, Sr., of Gulfport; daughter, Pamela Page Mock of Greenwood; three stepsons, Norris "Mike" Achee, Jr., of Gulfport; Allan Achee, of Denver, and James Patrick Achee of Fairhope, Ala.; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.

A service will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.

Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Catholic Church, 720 E. Beach Blvd., Long Beach, MS 39560.
