Ken was born April 3, 1943 in Francis, Utah. He was born to Joseph Augustus Bunot and Arva Alice McNeil.
Ken married Carol Bruce on November 17, 1962 in Evanston, Wyoming. To this union, four children were born.
Kenneth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he held the office of High Priest. He and his wife served in the Jordan River Temple and the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed the art of Dutch oven cooking. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He loved to spoil his grandkids and great grandkids. He also enjoyed to tell jokes and loved watching old western movies.
Ken is survived by his wife, Carol of Taylorsville. His children: son, Douglas (Shelly) Bunot of Rock Springs, Wyoming; daughters, Tamra Bunot of Midvale, Utah; Bridget Porter, Worland, Wyoming; and Traci Knutson, of South Jordan, Utah. Sister, Merlyn Houston of Francis, Utah. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Pauline Rees and Beverly Henson. Also preceded in death by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyoming. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 12:30 till 1:45 p.m., also at Crandall Funeral Home.
Interment will be held after the services in the Evanston City Cemetery.
