Alvin Sperry
Alvin Sperry, a civil war veteran, who had made his home with his son, Marion just east of Milford, for some time died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C.J. Norton, at Westville last Thursday night aged eighty-two years. The funeral was held at the daughter's home, Sunday afternoon. Burial at Elk Creek. Beside the son and daughter mentioned another daughter, Mrs. Rose Gifford, and a son Schuyler Sperry of Morris survive the aged father. - Our Milford Reporter
