Died 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1990, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Zachary. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Mitch Harris. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Survived by a daughter, Merle Arnold Covington, Pride; two sisters, Ina Blount Ragusa, Baton Rouge, and Arilla Blount Cole, Port Arthur, Texas; a brother, Ralph Blount, Denham Springs; three grandchildren, Johnell Bongiovanni, Baton Rouge, Sammy Covington and John Robert Covington, both of Pride; and five great-grandchildren, Rhett, Jason, Rachel, Courtenay and Jessica Covington.
