ADJUTANT GENERAL’S OFFICE, WASHINGTON DC, Nov. 21st, 1876.

Sir:

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt from your Office of application for Pension No. 177,112, and to return it herewith, with such information as is furnished by the files of this office. It appears from the Rolls on file in this Office that Thos. M. McMannigahl was a Pvt. in Co. "I", 45th Regiment of KY. Volunteers.
This man was admitted to Regimental Hospital March 20/64 with Rubella was transferred April 12,1864. Died May 27/64 at General Hospital, Ashland, KY of Bronchitis, the result of measles contracted in service and line of duty, March 1864 at Flemingsburg KY.
