Ann Reeves was born March 10, 1935 in Carter, Oklahoma to Janie and Sam Day. She passed away March 1, 2012 at Carter, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 21 days.
Ann attended school at Carter and graduated from Highway School. She was married to Bobby Reeves on June 16, 1951 in Wheeler, Texas at the Methodist Parsonage. They lived in Carter before moving to Pasadena, California and then back to Carter in 1955 to make their home. Ann became an insurance agent in 1963 and had an office in Carter until she retired in 2012. Ann also worked with her husband at Bobby Reeves Ford in Sayre from 1972 until 1984. Ann was an avid traveler and traveled around the world. She was an accomplished pilot. She loved to garden and take care of her flowers and yard. Ann's biggest joy was taking care of her family.
She was a member of the Carter First Baptist Church where she was the church organist for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Melanie Reeves, and 1 brother, James Day.
She is survived by her son, Marty Reeves, Carter, OK; 1 sister, Mary Jane Day, Carter, OK; 4 grandchildren, Dylan Reeves King, Carter, OK, Travis Reeves, Sayre, OK, Quaid Reeves, Carter, OK, Keeley Reeves, Sayre, OK; her nephew, Clark Wright and wife, Holly, Manasses, VA; brother-in-law, Ronnie Reeves and wife, Myra, Dalton, GA; special friend, Charlene Simpson, Carter, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 10:30 am at Carter First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Carter Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service.
