Mary Jane Day was born November 22, 1933 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Sam and Janie (Poarch) Day. She passed away December 1, 2014 at Carter, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years and 9 days.
Mary graduated from Carter High School in 1951 and moved to southern California in 1956 where she worked for CBS Televsion in Hollywood for 36 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Day and a sister, Ann Reeves.
She is survived by her son, Clark Wright and wife, Holly, of Leadville, Colorado; her favorite nephew, Marty Reeves of Carter, OK; 3 great nephews, Dylon King, Travis Reeves and Quaid Reeves of Carter, OK; a niece, Keely Damron of Delhi, OK; speical cousins, Judy Holen of Salem, OR and Bill Day of Dallas, TX; and special friends, Georgia Eschrich of Long Beach, CA and Janet Jasay of Carter, OK.
Graveside Service will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Carter Cemetery
