Bio by Find A Graver - White Light:

My uncle.

Ellsworth was a Captain in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a surgeon in a M*A*S*H unit in Korea. He and my father (who was also a surgeon at a M*A*S*H unit) were able to twice take "R and R" together in Japan.

After the war Ellsworth and his wife Virginia, and their 3 boys and 1 girl moved from Illinois to Hot Springs, New Mexico. He was the local physician and coroner there for many years. Hot Springs changed its name to Truth or Consequences in the 1950s.

Ellsworth and Virginia Hubble are buried in Vista Memory Gardens. Vista Memorial Gardens came into existence from property granted to the city from Ellsworth and Virginia on January 24, 1972. The tract is perpetually cared for by the city. There are attendants on the premises but there's no direct phone for the cemetery.
