Ralph O. Sharp, 86, Bedford, died at 7:31 a.m. Wednesday at Bedford Medical Center.
Born in Bedford, he was the son of Herschel and Minnie (Jackson) Sharpe. He first married Katherine McDonald, and she preceded him in death. He married Mary Webb on Nov. 29, 1941, in Martinsville, and she survives.
Surviving with the wife are three daughters: Rosamond Lively Kittle of Ventura, Calif., Janna Adams and Wanda Tanksley, both of Bedford; two sons: Ralph Sharpe and Nathan Sharpe, both of Bedford; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother (in infancy).
Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
