Obituary for Ralph H. Sharpe

Ralph H. Sharpe, 79, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at his residence. Born October 1, 1942 in Clark County, Indiana, he was the son of Ralph and Mary Webb Sharpe.

Ralph first retired from Otis Elevator in Bloomington and then went to work at Visteon (Ford) in Bedford as an assembler, from where he retired again. He was a member of the Oolitic VFW, the National Rifle Association, and previously attended the Faith Mission Church.

Surviving to cherish the memory of Ralph H. Sharpe are his children, Lester Cleveland "Cleve" Sharpe and his wife Ayshea of Oolitic, and Mary Arminda "Mindy" Bayes and her husband William of Jasper; two sisters, Janna Adams of Bedford and Wanda Spinks of Mitchell; one brother, Nathan Mark Sharpe, Sr. of Bedford; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Ralph H. Sharpe will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Nathan Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery near Huron. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00am-1:00pm at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
